Chicks Trainings and Events
Canyoning Chicks offers a variety of events throughout the year for women of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced canyoneers:
- Knotty Nights: Monthly ladies-only online training sessions covering specific topics like knots, anchors, weather, mapping, and rescue techniques.
- ChickFests: In-person training and canyon adventures in small groups, primarily in Utah with occasional trips to Nevada and the Pacific Northwest. These events are split into two levels:
- Beginner/Intermediate: For newcomers and those building skills to become competent team members.
- Advanced: For experienced canyoneers ready for more challenging techniques and problem-solving.
- Rendezvouses: Larger gatherings for beginner and experienced canyoneers to run multiple canyons with less formal training. There are leaders who will run an easier canyon for beginner canyoneers. By popular request these rendezvous events are co-ed allowing for partners to join the fun too - the boys were jealous of all the fun us Chicks were having!
