Our Mission
Chicks Helping Chicks: Elevating Canyoning Competency
Our non-profit organization is committed to empowering women in the global canyoning community by improving access to comprehensive canyoning training and practice to mentor and increase the number of female canyon leaders, instructors, and professional canyoning guides. We accomplish this by:
- Offering canyoneering classes in Utah and beyond, both online and in-person, with real in-canyon practice.
- Partnering with like-minded organizations to open up broader opportunities.
- Providing scholarships for women pursuing canyoning certifications to encourage more women leaders in canyoning.
- Nurturing a strong, supportive community of skilled and confident women canyoneers.
We’ve been guiding, teaching, and encouraging women since 2017 through our wide range of programs. Whether you're new to the sport or working toward becoming a pro, our community and training options are here for you.
